AGM ObservIR LRF 60-1280 Thermal Binocular
Thermal Binocular
Core Features
AGM's top handheld: a 1280x1024 thermal channel with four times the pixels of a 640, paired with a 4K day and night channel and a laser rangefinder. The ObservIR LRF 60-1280 runs the 12 micron, 1280x1024 sensor with NETD under 18 mK behind a 60 mm F1.0 lens for 2.5x base magnification, a wide 14.6 degree field of view and detection of a 6 foot heat source to about 3,100 meters (3,390 yards). The second 3840x2160 low-light digital channel with a built-in 850 nm IR illuminator lets you confirm what the thermal channel found, out to 400 meters at night. The Class 1 rangefinder reads to 1,000 meters with plus or minus 1 meter accuracy. GPS, a digital compass, 64 GB of recording and Wi-Fi are built in. A removable NE-7255 battery pack runs up to 7.5 hours with fast charging over USB-C, and two packs, a charger, a wrist strap and a tripod adapter come in the box. IP67 waterproof and backed by AGM's 5-year warranty.
1280 Thermal Channel
The 1280x1024 VOx detector has NETD under 18 mK and refreshes at 25 Hz. With a 60 mm F1.0 lens it covers a 14.6 x 8.8 degree field of view at 2.5x, so you get a wide scan and the resolution to zoom in without the image falling apart. Magnification steps through 2.5x, 5x, 10x and 20x. Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot and Fusion palettes, Jungle and Recognition scene modes, hot track, and auto, manual or external flat field correction.
4K Digital Day and Night Channel
A 3840x2160 progressive-scan CMOS sensor behind a 60 mm F2.2 lens with 5.5x, 11x, 16.5x and 22x magnification and Day, Night and Auto modes. The built-in 850 nm Smart IR illuminator has adjustable power and beam angle, and night viewing range is 400 meters. Switch from heat signature to a recognizable image without lowering the binocular.
Laser Rangefinder, GPS and Compass
The eye-safe 905 nm Class 1 rangefinder measures to 1,000 meters at plus or minus 1 meter. A built-in GPS module and digital magnetic compass tag your position and heading on screen.
Display and Image Processing
Twin 1920x1080, 0.49 inch OLED displays at 50 frames per second, with -5 to +3 diopter adjustment on each eyepiece and 60 to 74 mm interpupillary adjustment. Image Boost 2.0 and Zoom Pro processing sharpen detail at every zoom step, and picture-in-picture is available.
Recording and App
Video with audio, snapshots and a local album save to 64 GB of built-in EMMC memory. The Wi-Fi hotspot streams the view or transfers files to a phone.
Power
One removable, rechargeable NE-7255 Li-ion battery pack runs up to 7.5 hours at 25 degrees C with Wi-Fi, IR and the rangefinder off. The USB Type-C port takes 5 V or 9 V at 3 A for external power, direct charging and fast charging. Two packs and a charger are included; standby mode and auto screen-off stretch a full night.
Durability
IP67 waterproof and dustproof, rated from -30 to +55 degrees C. The unit measures 230 x 153 x 83 mm (9.1 x 6.0 x 3.3 inches) and weighs 0.89 kg (1.97 lb) without the battery.
