AGM ReachIR LRF 50-640 Thermal Monocular
Thermal Monocular
Core Features
The long-range ReachIR for open country, where you want to pick up a coyote on the far fence line and know the distance before it closes. The ReachIR LRF 50-640 runs a 640x512, 12 micron sensor with NETD under 20 mK behind a 50 mm F1.0 lens for 3x base magnification and digital zoom to 24x, and detects a 6 foot heat source to about 2,600 meters (2,843 yards). The Class 1 rangefinder reads to 1,000 meters with plus or minus 1 meter accuracy. A 1024x768 OLED display, 64 GB of recording, Wi-Fi to the AGM Connect app, a removable 18650 battery (two included) and a magnesium alloy IP67 housing round it out. Backed by AGM's 5-year warranty.
Sub-20 mK 640 Sensor and 50 mm Lens
The 640x512 VOx detector has NETD under 20 mK and runs at 50 Hz, with AGM's updated image processing for detail on damp, low-contrast nights. The 50 mm F1.0 lens gives an 8.7 x 7.0 degree field of view, and digital zoom steps 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x take magnification from 3x to 24x.
Laser Rangefinder
The eye-safe 905 nm Class 1 rangefinder measures to 1,000 meters at plus or minus 1 meter. The reading shows on screen, so there is no second device to dig out when an animal hangs up at the edge of your comfort range.
Display and Image Controls
A 1024x768, 0.39 inch OLED at 50 frames per second with -5 to +3 diopter adjustment. Four palettes (Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion), Jungle and Recognition scene modes, picture-in-picture, hot track for the hottest point in the scene, and auto, manual or external flat field correction.
Recording and App
Video with audio and still capture save to 64 GB of built-in EMMC memory. The Wi-Fi hotspot streams the view to a phone through the AGM Connect app and transfers files.
Power
One removable 18650 Li-ion runs up to 4 hours at 25 degrees C with Wi-Fi and the rangefinder off; a second battery is in the box, and the on-screen battery gauge shows what is left. The USB Type-C port accepts a 5 V / 2 A power bank. Standby mode and auto screen-off stretch the runtime on a long sit.
Durability
Magnesium alloy housing, IP67 waterproof, rated from -30 to +55 degrees C. It weighs 450 g (1.0 lb) without the battery.
