Core Features

The widest-view 384 in the TaipanV2 line. The 15-384 puts a 384x288, 12 micron sensor with NETD under 20 mK behind a 15 mm F1.0 lens, so you get a 17.5 degree field of view for scanning close cover and pasture edges with the detail of a 384 sensor. Base magnification is 1.5x with digital zoom to 12x, and a 6 foot heat source shows up to about 750 meters (820 yards). The 1024x768 OLED display is a step up from the LCOS screens on the 256 and 320 models. A removable, rechargeable 18650 battery (two included) runs up to 6.5 hours, and a tilt sensor shuts the display off when you lower the unit. 50 Hz refresh, 16 GB of recording, Wi-Fi to the AGM Connect app, IP67 waterproof, and AGM's 5-year transferable warranty.

Sub-20 mK 384 Sensor

The 384x288 VOx detector has NETD under 20 mK and runs at 50 Hz, which keeps detail in the image on damp, low-contrast nights. The 15 mm F1.0 fixed-focus lens needs no focusing and covers 30.8 x 23 meters at 100 meters. Magnification steps through 1.5x, 3x, 6x and 12x.

OLED Display and Image Controls

A 1024x768 OLED display behind a wide rubber eyecup, 20 mm eye relief and -5 to +3 diopter adjustment. Four palettes (Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion), General and Compressed scene modes, cold and warm tone settings, picture-in-picture, hot track and a stadiametric distance measurement tool.

Recording and App

Video with audio and still capture save to 16 GB of built-in memory. The Wi-Fi hotspot streams the view to a phone through the AGM Connect app and transfers files.

Power

One removable 18650 Li-ion runs up to 6.5 hours at 25 degrees C with Wi-Fi off; a second battery is in the box. The USB Type-C port accepts a 5 V / 2 A power bank, and the tilt sensor turns the screen off automatically to save battery.

Durability

Rubber overmolded housing, IP67 waterproof, rated from -30 to +55 degrees C. It weighs 0.3 kg (0.66 lb) without the battery.
