Pulsar Telos LRF XL50 Thermal Monocular
Thermal Monocular
Core Features
Pulsar's long-reach handheld with a built-in laser rangefinder. The Telos LRF XL50 runs a 1024x768, 12 micron sensor behind an F50/1.0 lens, giving about 2,515 yards of detection on a 6 foot target and enough resolution to identify what you found, not just see that it is there. Magnification runs 2.5 to 20x, the rangefinder reads to 1,094 yards, and the LPS 7i battery runs about 7 hours. The Telos platform is modular, so lens and battery components can be upgraded later. IPX7 waterproof and backed by Pulsar's 3-year warranty, extended to 5 years with registration.
1024 XL Sensor
The 1024x768 sensor at 12 microns runs at 50 Hz with NETD under 40 mK (sNETD under 20 mK), shown at full resolution on a 1024x768 AMOLED display. Brightness and contrast settings save to a user mode so the image is right the next time you switch on.
Optics and Handling
The F50/1.0 lens gives a 14 x 10.5 degree field of view (24.6 x 18.5 m at 100 m) at 2.5x, with 8x digital zoom to 20x. Zoom and focus are on adjustment rings, so you can zoom in and focus in one motion like a camera lens. Eye relief is 14 mm.
Laser Rangefinder
The Class 1, 905 nm rangefinder measures to 1,094 yards (1,000 m) at plus or minus 1 m, so you know the distance before you reach for the rifle.
Recording and App
Photo and video record at 1024x768 to 64 GB of built-in memory. Dual-band Wi-Fi streams the live view to a phone through Stream Vision 2 and handles firmware updates.
Power
The LPS 7i pack (6400 mAh) runs about 7 hours at room temperature and charges over USB-C Power Delivery at 5 or 9 volts; the pack also supports wireless charging.
Durability
Rubber-armored reinforced body, IPX7 waterproof, rated from -13 to 104 degrees F, with a 1/4 inch tripod socket.
