Pulsar Trail 3 LRF XQ50 Thermal Riflescope
Thermal Rifle Scope
Core Features
The Trail 3 platform and its built-in laser rangefinder at the lower price point. The Trail 3 LRF XQ50 runs a 384x288, 17 micron sensor with a system NETD under 15 mK, the most sensitive figure in the Trail 3 range, which is what holds the image together in humidity and light rain. Magnification runs 3.5 to 14x across a 7.5 degree field of view, detection is about 1,968 yards on a 6 foot target, and the rangefinder reads to 1,312 yards. Runtime is up to 10 hours. This kit ships with the mount. Backed by Pulsar's 3-year warranty, extended to 5 years with registration.
384 Sensor, Under 15 mK
The 384x288 sensor at 17 microns carries a system NETD under 15 mK. Low NETD is what matters on damp nights when the temperature difference between an animal and the ground shrinks.
Optics
Base magnification is 3.5x with digital zoom to 14x. Field of view is 7.5 degrees, or 13.1 m at 100 m, which suits open fields and long sendero shots.
Laser Rangefinder
The built-in rangefinder measures to 1,312 yards (1,200 m), so range and target sit in the same sight picture without a second device.
Power
Maximum operating time is 10 hours, a full night without a battery change.
Mount
Supplied with the mount in this kit (Bill Hicks code PL76585K).
