The POCKET K3 is a 0.47 lb thermal monocular that rides in a shirt pocket and gets you a quick scan without pulling out a full-size scanner. A 384x288 sensor with thermal sensitivity under 25 mK sits behind a 15 mm F1.0 lens for 2x base magnification, 1-4x digital zoom, a wide 17.5 x 13.1 degree field and an 853 yard detection range. Electronic image stabilization steadies the handheld view, a 0.32 inch 800x600 OLED shows it, 32 GB of memory records it and Wi-Fi sends it to the RIX+ app. A replaceable 18650 battery runs about 6 hours. IP67 rated with a 5 year warranty.
Lighter Than Your Phone
At 0.47 lb and 4.9 inches the K3 is always with you on a hike, a walk to the stand or a check of the pasture. The sliding integrated lens cover opens and closes with a finger, so there is no cap to lose.
Electronic Image Stabilization
Built-in motion sensors and stabilization algorithms cut the shake and blur of a handheld scanner, which is a real help for new thermal users who are still learning to hold steady while walking or scanning.
384 Sensor with RET
The 12 micron 384x288 sensor at 50 Hz, with thermal sensitivity under 25 mK, picks up small temperature differences in changing weather. RIX's Resolution Enhanced Technology doubles the displayed pixel count with AI processing, which pays off most during digital zoom.
OLED Display and Palettes
The 0.32 inch 800x600 OLED display gives good contrast and detail, with multiple palettes including white hot, black hot and red hot, and intelligent parameter adjustment keeps the picture usable on rainy or foggy nights.
Recording and RIX+ App
32 GB of built-in storage records photo and video at 800x600, and files transfer to your phone through the RIX+ app on iOS or Android, which also handles live view and firmware updates.
Power and Durability
A swappable 18650 battery runs about 6 hours at 72 F, with 5V USB-C external power supported. IP67 waterproof and rated for -4 F to 122 F, with 13.5 mm eye relief and -5 to +5 diopter adjustment. Battery, charger, carrying case and lanyard are in the box.
