RIX Storm S3R V2 Thermal Imaging Riflescope

Thermal Riflescope for Coyote Hunting
Sale price$2,199.00

Core Features

The second generation of RIX's compact 384 thermal riflescope. The Storm S3R V2 keeps the one-pound, button-driven design of the original and upgrades what is behind it: a 384x288 sensor with thermal sensitivity under 15 mK, a 1920x1080 AMOLED display, a laser rangefinder that now reaches 2,187 yards, and an onboard ballistic calculator with five zeroing profiles. A raised, extended rail clears the bolt on more rifles, and the rangefinder module moves to the left side. Rated for 1000g of recoil and IP67 waterproof, it runs on replaceable 18650 batteries and ships with a Picatinny QD mount, two batteries and a charger. 5 year warranty.

Sharper 384 Image

RIX's RET image processing and a sub-15 mK sensor pull more detail out of fur and brush than the first Storm S3R, which matters most on humid nights when thermal contrast drops. The 35 mm F1.0 lens at 3.5x base magnification gives a 1,969 yard detection range, and the 0.49 inch 1920x1080 AMOLED display shows the detail without a screen-door look.

Long Range Rangefinding and Ballistics

The integrated laser rangefinder measures to 2,187 yards with rain and fog algorithms to hold a reading in bad weather. Enter your load once and the built-in ballistic calculator gives a corrected hold for the ranged distance. Five rifle profiles are stored on the scope.

Precise Zero

A fine reticle, 0.26 MOA per click adjustment, Freeze Zeroing and Recoil to Zoom make zeroing and follow-up shots faster. Nine reticle styles in five colors are available, and reticle 9 can be customized in the RIX+ app.

Picture in Picture

PIP keeps the full field of view at 1x while a magnified inset shows the reticle area, so you can watch an animal's approach and still place the shot.

Built for Gloves and Dark Stands

Four large buttons in a cross layout are easy to find by feel. The body is rated to 1000g of impact and handles heavy calibers including .375 H&H and 12 gauge. At 6.4 inches and 1.16 lb it also works as a handheld scanner between sits.

Recording and Wi-Fi

64 GB of built-in memory records photo and video at 1744x1027. Built-in Wi-Fi and the RIX+ app (iOS and Android) handle live streaming, firmware updates, ballistic setup and rangefinder display options from your phone.

Power

Replaceable 18650 batteries swap in seconds and run about 4 hours at 72 F. Two batteries and a charger are in the box, and the USB-C port accepts 5V external power.

2,187 Yard Laser Rangefinder

Fast, accurate ranging with enhanced sensitivity and rain and fog algorithms for reliable readings in any condition.

Built-in ballistic calculation turns that range into precise aiming guidance based on your shooting conditions, so there is less guesswork on long shots.

Sharper Details. Greater Comfort.

A NETD under 15mK thermal sensor with RET technology delivers sharper detail and better target recognition in tough conditions.

The 0.49 inch 1920x1080 AMOLED display, larger exit pupil and extended eye relief keep long nights behind the scope comfortable.
